Um álbum de família com um recorte muito específico: Mãe e Filho, Filho
com mãe, Mãe versus Filho. Esse foi o objeto que desenhou o esboço deste trabalho.
Essa dupla que ao encenar a vida aprazível de uma troca visceral, repousam em
referentes que existem apenas ali: na fotografia. Nestas imagens apropriadas, aos
poucos, fui rompendo os laços simbólicos entre criança e majestade. Para isso
coloquei minhas unhas nestas carnes-papéis, e costurei sobre elas a dor de nascer
estrangeiro num corpo de pele arranhada.
A family album with a very specific cut: Mother and Son, Son with mother, Mother versus Son. This was the object that drew the outline of this work. By staging the pleasurable life of a visceral exchange, this duo rests on referents that exist only there: in photography. In these appropriated images, little by little, I gradually broke the symbolic ties between child and majesty. To do this, I put my nails into these paper-flesh, and sewed on them the pain of being born a foreigner in a body of scratched skin.
